• Ripley Power & Light will install surge protection at your meter to protect your large appliances, such as your refrigerator, stove, washer, dryer, and heating and air-conditioning system. The cost of $4.95 a month will be added to your electric bill. It includes warranty coverage of $1,000 per appliance and up to $10,000 per event.
   
• In-Home protection includes a one-time purchase of plug-in surge protection devices for your sensitive electronic equipment, including computers, entertainment systems, and garage door openers. Your purchase can be added to you electric bill at zero interest. This protection is easy to install yourself and includes lifetime warranty of up to $25,000 for connected equipment repair and replacement.
